New Year

My New Year activity arrived today:

This puzzle looks pretty easy due to the unique graphics and logos. My dad and step-mom had a tradition to do a puzzle on New Year's Day and whenever the kids dropped by, we'd help out with the puzzle. So I've invited my bro and sis to come over and do the puzzle with me. My only puzzle rule is: no less than 1,000 pieces. Otherwise, you're just playing around.

I almost took a quick flight to San Diego for the long weekend, but with being sick, I didn't get it together in time, so I'm staying local for the holiday. (The great thing about T. is that he prefers to do things at the last minute, so I could just call him from the airport after I arrived to tell him I was visiting for the weekend and his response would be, "Great! See you in a few minutes!" I teased him that I was going to do that, and if he didn't answer, go home with the hottest guy at the airport instead. "Well, the hottest guy at the airport will be gay, so have fun with that!" Ha, he wins that argument. I'm sure he's right.)

Related to yesterday's map post (and the reason I pulled out all my maps) I'm working on an activity for work right now involving this awesome 155 page map:

How lucky am I?

Hope you all have a great New Year!
